Kain C+C are a firm that don’t just say they’re different, in my experience they are. This is evident in everything from their hands on involvement in the community, to the way they recruit graduates and clerks and provide them with real opportunities.
First and foremost, Kain C+C take an interest in your personality and what drives you as a person long before they examine your results.
This isn’t to say they aren’t seeking to attract talented young lawyers but it’s not their only objective. Perfect scores don’t take priority over personality.

Making the transition from Law Student to full-time Lawyer can be a daunting proposition.
The all green Kain C+C stall caught my eye at the 2007 Adelaide University careers fair. I was encouraged to apply after speaking with the representatives at the store and hearing about the structure of the graduate clerkship program on offer.
After applying, I was invited to a function with a selection of other applicants. The function was an excellent opportunity to speak with lawyers at Kain C+C and get a feel for the culture of the firm.
Christos 'SOS' Tsonis (commenced January 2006)
I first heard about Kain Corporate + Commercial Lawyers in 2005 when Kain C+C invited clerkship applications at Flinders University.
After submitting my application I was invited to an afternoon gathering at the principal’s house; the atmosphere was casual. We met and got to know the lawyers at Kain C+C and discussed our goals and career expectations.
I was fortunate to be invited to a formal interview and, following that, was offered and accepted a clerkship from 2006.
