In our Information and Communcation Technology (ICT) practice, we have worked with IT companies on a range of ICT issues including software development, licensing, access regimes and protection.
Amongst other things, our team members have:
- advised one of Australia’s leading providers of data processing services to the finance industry on the acquisition and replacement of core banking software, software development and licensing and access agreements for customers
- advised a local software developer from initial product development, licensing and access agreements for customers, partial sell down and equity investments and ultimate sale of interest to a national software distributor
- advised Australia’s first internet ‘television’ provider in respect of business structures, Broadcasting Act compliance, advertising terms, website content regulation and hosting rights
