Foundation

Compared to the overwhelming majority of the world’s population (and many parts of Australia’s population), we occupy a position of rare privilege: materially, socially and in many other respects. With this privilege comes responsibility – the responsibility to use our good fortune to help those less fortunate. The Kain C+C Charitable Foundation is the vehicle through which we do this. 

The Foundation is a public ancillary fund, having been endorsed as a deductible gift recipient by the Australian Taxation Office.

Each team member makes a fortnightly donation to the Foundation. Our business then matches those donations dollar for dollar. The Foundation has raised more than $250,000 in cash and performed more than 2,000 hours of volunteer work on Foundation projects.

Each team member has committed to spending at least 10 hours each quarter (roughly one week each year) performing volunteer work through programs sponsored by the Foundation.
