To honour the Foundation’s mandate of ‘unlocking compassion to change our world’, Foundation projects should demonstrate many of the following criteria:

Our role |
Involve both financial and ‘hands on’ support from us and our corporate partners |

Scalable |
Able to be replicated in other locations or contexts, including by our corporate partners |

Sustainable |
Able to be self sustaining with a continuing long term impact beyond our period of support |

Measurable |
Identifiable outcomes with both short and long term KPIs |

Prevention |
Address the causes of problems, rather than treat the symptoms |
|
Minimal resources |
Receive limited government funding or philanthropic support |
|
Administration |
Have low administration costs; solid and proven administration; and strong volunteer support |
