Watoto is a non profit organisation established in 1994 to care for orphans in Uganda.

Since 1994 and with the generosity of people around the word, Watoto has constructed three ‘Villages of Hope’, children’s villages, in Uganda: two in Kampala (Uganda’s capital) and one in Gulu (in northern Uganda). These villages include homes, schools and medical clinics built by volunteers from all over the world.

Watoto’s stated core vision is to rescue a child, raise a leader and rebuild a nation. It does so by providing holistic, residential care for orphaned and vulnerable children.
