John Kain

John graduated from Adelaide University and was admitted to legal practice in South Australia in 1990. He founded Kain Corporate + Commercial Lawyers in mid 2004 and was appointed as an inaugural Board member in July 2007. He continues to serve in that capacity. 

In addition to his responsibilities as Director of Kain C+C’s corporate practice, as a Board member, John continues to play an active role in shaping the strategic direction of the business and overseeing its
 governance.

John is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has served on a number of boards, including as a director of public charitable trusts, Chairman of a commonwealth government advisory panel and as director of a number of  private companies.  

He is currently serving on the board of a Brisbane based fund management group, as a director of an Adelaide based alternative asset fund manager, as Chairman of an Adelaide based private investment company and as a member of the Finance Council of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide
