John Kain

Known as Jonty to his team mates, John is married with three children.  He is a passionate Essendon supporter and an enthusiastic golfer.  Sadly, his golfing ability is inversely proportional to his enthusiasm. 

John graduated from Adelaide University and was admitted to practice in South Australia in 1990.  He was subsequently admitted to practice in England and New South Wales.  John practised as a partner in two Adelaide commercial law firms before establishing Kain C+C in May 2004.

John is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and 
serves as a director of a number 
of companies.

John's work in the M&A field was 
recently recognised by the 2010 
Doyle's Guide to the Australian 
Legal Profession, where he was 
ranked as one of the seven leading 
M&A lawyers in South Australia.
