Michelle Hutton
Michelle, or Mish, as she is better known, is a mother of two who enjoys going to the theatre, seeing live music and comedy performances, and playing netball. As well as spending time with her husband and daughters, Michelle enjoys playing the bass guitar and flute, and practising her (somewhat rusty) Japanese speaking skills.
Michelle completed an Honours Degree in Law at the University of Adelaide in 1998. She subsequently worked for two commercial law firms in Adelaide and Sydney, before joining us in 2008. Michelle has worked on many commercial and succession planning matters including:
- Implementing business succession strategies for businesses, including those with complex company, trust, partnership and joint venture structures.
- Implementing estate planning strategies for individuals including the use of complex testamentary trusts and innovative protective trusts for disabled beneficiaries.
- Drafting joint venture and shareholders agreements for existing and start-up entities in various industries including pharmaceutical, retail and technology.
- Preparing and advising on numerous commercial documents including licence agreements, distribution agreements, management agreements and consultancy agreements.
Michelle has completed three international exchanges including a rotary exchange to Wisconsin, USA and a Law Faculty Exchange to the University of Victoria, Canada.
