Tom Katsaros

Tom Katsaros returned to Adelaide with his wife and three young children in September 2010 to join Kain C+C. When not at work or at home, Tom can be seen on the field in the local over 35s modified AFL rules competition - struggling to revive fast receding memories of his glory days captaining the Adelaide University Football club, and playing in all conquering premiership teams.

Following his admission to practice, Tom worked in the Banking and Finance team of a large national law firm for three years before succumbing to the lure of a career off shore. Shunning the traditional path to Hong Kong, London and New York, Katsy moved first to Jersey, and then to the Cayman Islands, where he worked in the Corporate and Investment funds team in the world’s largest offshore law firm. During his four and a half year stint offshore, Tom worked on a number of high profile M&A and private equity fund transactions and also advised in respect of equity capital raisings and markets and general corporate transactions. Tom’s works in our corporate team with particular focus on private equity, funds management and M&A transactions.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from the Flinders University of South Australia.
